My Favorite Pianist, Fujiko Hemming

These are some works by the renowned international pianist, Fujiko Hemming. She was born in Berlin to a Japanese pianist mother and a Russian-Swedish architect father and has lost her hearing due to high-fever in her late 20's. I just love the sound of her piano as well as the loving energy of her artworks. She is not just someone who was born with exceptional talent, but also someone who has gone through very hard times in order to reach where she is now. I feel it is showing in her sound of piano and in her artwork :-)
