Amazing! Origami Crane Made by Clay!!

Recently, while I was surfing on the internet looking around great arts, I happened to have encountered this interesting craft tutorial video, "How to make Origami Cranes by Clay". I really enjoyed it. I was so impressed with her sensitive hands which makes beautiful Cranes by Clay, and she doesn't use any little trick to make a beautiful shape. I am sure some people have to practive a little in order to make a Origami Crane by clay like her. But I really appreciate that there are people in America who appreciate Japanese culture and develop it in the unique way. They really are beautiful, just like the ones made by real Origami! And I loved that clay cranes are baked on the cup cake tray in the end. That was so cute

Hope you enjoy

And Some Announcement From Me! (Third entry today :D)

Just in case someone is reading this blog, I would like to tell you a little bit of my plan.
As I mentioned on my previous entry, I am leaving this country, and moving back to Japan soon. Well, not really too soon though, it's probably in the end of July or beginning of August. But, after living in this country for nearly 15 years, this is a big transition for me, there are of course a lot to prepare for it. And, recently I have also realized that I am emotionally very very exhausted right now, so I have decided to take some time off from what I have been doing for a while. "Euphorian Chic" is basically the concept of my art making, so the moving wouldn't affect what I do as an artist much. But, as business, I might have to change the direction all over again. So, I will think about that during this break as well.

As for this "Euphorian Chic" blog, it would probably be less active until my new life is settled in Japan. But since I need creativity in my life somehow, you'll probably see some new entry every once a while.

I guess that's all for today.

In the meantime, have an euphoric life yourself!!

P P P P Pink!

These are taken last month when flowers were blooming beautifully around here in NJ. The season of most of these flowers already passed and now the color green is covering up the trees. Anyway, I just wanted to show the pink ones, because they were so lovely, and made me feel so "Pink" while jogging in the morning. :-) Although I was almost caught as "breaking & entering" twice, I guess it was worth the effort. (People seem a little neurotic around here.... of course they let me continue as soon as they found out it was me taking photos though....)

I guess I'm going to use them in my art somewhere later on ;-) (I already have one of them.)

And of course.... <333333

Photos of Dog Paradise

New photos are added to the slide show of "Come Walk With Me" NYC Dog Walking Tour. Please see them at Chelsea and Midtown South.
Now it has become over 200 photos. Though I might add some later if I take some really good ones. But otherwise, I think this project is finished now.

Found "Dog Paradise"!

Found dog baby too!

And they posed for me, later :-)
Check them out at "Come Walk With Me" NYC Dog Walking Tour.

I'll Miss New York...

*~* New York In The Rain *~*

These were taken a couple days ago in NYC. On my way home it started raining. Though I am basically not a huge fan of rainy days, somehow that day it looked so beautiful and I really liked watching people walking on the streets in the rain. I guess it suits my feelings right now, especially the third one. There are already certain amount of light, tranquility in me. But, I am absolutely sure that I will miss New York for a long time...:-)

My "Love Love" Series No.2

Recently, one of my friends reminded me of the fact that I've always loved Frat Iron Building in NYC. I was thinking of taking some photos of it when I was doing "NYC Dog Walking Tour" Photo project. But I somehow missed the spot. So I went there last week and finally took some, AND also found "Dog Paradise" which I will probably add to the slide show later.
Anyway, when I was a kid, I would dream of going to America, and I hung B&W photos of old NY in my room. And one of them was of course Frat Iron Building. Well, according to the tourist book that I studied when my friend visited me from Japan, (and I finally remembered the name of the Frat Iron Building at that time.) it is the first high rise building in NYC. And I really love that it is still loved by people despite that it isn't so high at all anymore.
So, (firnally reached what I wanted to say...) I wanted to use this photo as a metapher for what I love :-)
